2146 Squadron
Royal Air Force Air Cadets
2146 is one of Bristol's strongest Air Cadet Squadron's, promoting a love of aviation in young people. Currently the Squadron is expanding and training new recruits in life skills and vocations not available with civillian youth organisations; in order to embody young individuals with a ''spirit of adventure'.
2146 is one of over 1,000 squadrons located within the UK and one of 29 units in Bristol and Gloucestershire Wing. However the Air Cadets is an international organisation stretching from the USA to Ghana and as far as Hong Kong.
2146 has recently celebrated its 70th Anniversary, and alongside the Corps has grown in strength since the official establishment of the Air Cadets in 1941. Now the Air Cadets is one of the largest youth organisations, ''inspiring the next generation' of over 41,000 cadets with rewarding and challenging opportunities.
